Joelle loves to write, but like many in her family, she also enjoys expressing her world in art. Recently, her work won in a show in California judged by the senior curator of the Oakland Museum of California (click here for more details). Her sister shows her oil paintings in galleries, and her grandfather was a sculptor. As well, her mother’s charcoals/mixed-media paintings are on permanent collection in a Southern California museum and continue to be featured in more museums and galleries.
Moreover, her sister and mother’s drawings have toured the world as part of a special show about breast cancer. Those drawings were included in the book Art.Rage.Us.
