Pictured below, you’ll find images of Joelle’s “Galaxy” series painted river stones. Their abstract designs were named for their similarity to organically swirling and sparkling galaxies that drift through space and the universe. After experimenting with marbling and detailed painting, Joelle began expanding the design into mixed-media paintings.
